Nestled in the picturesque Black Forest, Landgasthof Zum Schuetzen proved to be a charming retreat for our family Christmas getaway. The traditional décor and immaculate cleanliness created an inviting atmosphere that made us feel at home right away. Our spacious two-bedroom apartment, complete with a large balcony, overlooked the stunning garden, providing a serene backdrop for our family gatherings, especially memorable with our delightful two-year-old son exploring the playground just steps away. The culinary experience was a highlight; the breakfast buffet offered a rich variety of options, setting us up perfectly for our daily adventures in the breathtaking surroundings. the staff's warm hospitality added a personal touch to our stay, their efforts particularly appreciated as they gracefully handled the occasional toddler antics. With hiking trails right outside our door and easy access to Freiburg for more exploration, Landgasthof Zum Schuetzen is an idyllic spot for families seeking both relaxation and adventure alike. I wholeheartedly recommend it for anyone looking to create precious memories in a truly enchanting setting.
